Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!
What I use to get it to the barn and back. I need the short turning radius offered by the tractor. Top picture is what I use to to get to the lake and back.

Re: Lake season closed? Possibility?
My family has an Easter tradition. After church we pack dinner and enjoy our Easter meal on the water. This year all of the boat ramps are closed. Unless you keep your boat on the water you are out of luck. I am hoping that after the Easter weekend the ban on ramps will loosen. The thing that really...

Re: New Cobalt Owner & Excited
Welcome from South Texas. Great looking boat. I have heard nothing but good things about Lake Conroe. I plan to haul her there one weekend next summer. I’ll look got you.

Greetings from South Texas and a fellow 222 owner. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine. My off season addition is going to be Seadek on the swim platform.

Re: President Lyndon Johnson i
I thought this was very cool so I talked to a couple of old Texans from that area. This tale can’t be confirmed and I would never divulge the source... but the tale is. When Pres. Johnson would decide to go to the lake the Secret Service would rent a jet boat to trail the President from Lake Travis ...

Re: Let's post up September 2019 Pics.
The boating season is just getting good in S Texas. The Spring was too wet and windy. The summer was too hot but finally it is getting very nice. Here are several pictures from last weekend on Lake LBJ.

President Lyndon Johnson i
I spent last weekend at Horseshoe Bay on Lake LBJ., A nice lake in the Austin, Tx area. While walking through the marina admiring all the Cobalt boats a beautifully restored old boat caught my eye. I went to take a closer look and on the dashboard was a tag indicating the boat had been built by Glas...

Welcome from Texas. You have a great looking boat that will serve you well for years. The learning experience you described is both nerve racking and exciting. I was taught to remember that neutral is your friend. As for maintenance I can’t help much. I trailer and am only on fresh water lakes. Agai...

Texas- Lake Buchanan
Has anyone spent much (any) time on Buchanan?
I am planning a long weekend trip to LBJ. I’m sitting here looking at a map and on the back of the map is Buchanan. It looks lots bigger than LBJ or Travis but I never hear anyone talking about it.

Re: Trailer steps
I like the low bow stop on Tuscany’s trailer. I am guessing that allows you to put the trailer further in the water for an easier winch or power load. If I put my trailer too far out the bow eye floats over the rubber stop.

Re: Trailer steps
Tuscany thanks for the advice. I Realy like what they did with your trailer. I’m too old to be hoping around on a spare tire.

Re: Trailer steps
Ramp n clamp looks like a very nice accessory. Do you have it on your trailer? It seems to have very good reviews. I would need to see it in action. I’d be uncomfortable pulling out on a steep ramp without the strap attached, especially with a boat as heavy as a Cobalt.
