Bow Filler Cushion

Well I've always wanted one in one of my boats. I finally just had one made. Not sure if we will ever use it but fit now it's not coming out. Plus the wife doesn't know I had it made. She never saw a use for them. She won't care either.lol Everyone that's has them loves them. I used all factory vinyl.

Re: Propeller selection info and speeds

It's not always right but my rule of thumb was if you had a 21p alum you could drop to a 29 stainless and get the better hole shot but because it's stainless and it holds the water better and doesn't flex you maintained the same top end if not more. Changing from 3-4 blades is a bit different. Also ...

Re: Propeller selection info and speeds

Well a stainless is four giving also as they don't bend and chip as ready either when they hit something. They also have a rubber or hub to protect the prop shaft. But yes damage can occur with either.lol I would go stainless 4 blade. The rev 4 prob 29 or 17 pitch is great. My buddy can't get his ru...

Re: New Cobalt R7 Quality Issues

Wow to me it sounds like your dealer did a poor job prepping the boat. Something's do come up. Yours sounds excessive to me. I would be crazy if my sink fell into the hull. Poor workmanship there along with the screw going through the wire for the speaker. It can Happen but it shouldn't. The whine i...

Re: FNG

Well she ran 56.59 today 4400rpms .so that is past the half way mark so call it 57 lol. I'll need every mph to keep Matt of my back. I think I might try some hill Marine 4 blade props to get some more punch to her. I was hoping for over 60 when I bought this boat. So we will see. I'll push it when I...

Re: Propeller selection info and speeds

If it was a merc I would be all over this. sorry if you already posted this info. But what is your wot speed and rpm. I think you said you wanted it for water sports mostly. Do you know your gear ratio? It's on the tab on the drive. What prop is on it now? Pitch and diameter helps. And yes it's a al...

Re: FNG

That's cool. Glad that's all it was. Do you have the impeller part number or the kit you used? Liquid - point well taken. I need to burn this had up so I'm going to run it a bit. It cruises 40-45 very nice though. We will have to talk MattzKatz to step up to the bb plate.lol he was faster than my ol...

Re: Rundown of higher end coaxial speakers

That's funny. My wife loves the boat just not loud music. If it was my last wife I couldn't agree more. This one is the best. 12 years going strong still feels like the honeymoon. And she is cheap and doesn't complain when I spend money. Well let us Know what you end up with and pictures. Really jl ...

Re: FNG

Wow that's crazy. I know I won't get near that. Do you have the 375 or 425? What gear ratio and props. When I was in the boat by myself it was on plane in a second but with two adults in the back a bit slower. But I'm still playing with it. Did you find the chunk of impeller? When was it changed last...
