In Wisconsin is not a law. Missouri it is.
I use it here because it's a great tool to keep the kids safe. I'm sure half of the Captain's here have no idea what it means. I think anytime you're towing a person it should be raised.

Re: 2006 cobalt 220 performance
Nice choices. I knew a guy that had that Set up in a 250. Ran 70.
What are you getting out of yours now?
Still the 220 hull isn't that fast but for what 10k 10mph?maybe?

Re: Depth Alarm 220s?
I've been on the custom 1 time and that was enough for me. Not a huge fan. You just have to get used to the lake. I honestly wouldn't even look at the Guage. All you will be is worried about when your going to hit and that takes the fun out of it. Set the alarm at 4 ft. But know where that depth is ...

Re: 226 vs newer cobalt
After owning an R5 for nearly 9 years and my uncle owning a 226 for the same time the 226 is a great boat! But it is nothing compared to the R series. I would agree with BBP and either plan on putting 20K into your 226 or buy an R series. Especially if you get into rough water! The R’s have a highe...

Re: 226 vs newer cobalt
Ok here's my opinion. The 496 can get rebuilt plan on 10k plus the drive to do it right. So interior another $7500 So your into it easy for another 20k. After riding in Dustins cs23 I'll say my 220 handles the rough water better than his. Other than that the cs23 rides great and I wouldn't give it a...

Look at your ecu see what you have. Probably a mefi4 yes you can return it. I had mine tweaked some a few years ago. I believe it was from someone I Cali. It's a common ecu they use for Gm cars.
I found it. They did mine.

Awesome BBP.
Why am I having Deja Vu'?
Honestly I never get tired of seeing Max (or anyone for that matter) with the throttle FULL forward.

Re: From 190 to 226, a true love story lol
Yea if you're hitting the Rev limiter then you need to go up to f8. It will be fine. It's got plenty of torque to get up with any load in the boat. I think F8 is stock on that boat from what I remember and that is the same ratio I had and have. You will Probably hit 66 maybe. The 226 is one of the f...

Re: Boat Scratches
Yea you can polish scratches or of gel coat as long as it's not too deep. It's pretty forgiving. Plenty of vids on here about buffing and polishing.
