Re: Keeping batteries maintained
They make battery tenders that have multiple battery capacity. I had one for my previous boat that I could hook 4 batteries. The single unit monitored 4 batteries at once. I would imagine they make one in a two battery configuration.

Re: Sports arch
That is a sharp boat. The blue boot stripe and the blue bimini work well together.

Re: Captains Call
Agree with the the above on the speed/power. The exception would be if you tune the boat engine to know you flipped the switch and some fuel mapping changes were made to take advantage of the increased airflow. If $6k is pocket change by all mean have at it..... I would rather have a windlass anchor...

Re: Sports arch
I see you live in Buffalo and as I too am live with a 3 month boating season my family and I leave the top folded up a good deal of the summer. I detest sun on my receding hair line. That being said when is 70-75 degrees out and you are making a run the sun feels pretty good and with the top up my c...

Re: New R5 order. Which 380?
There is no need for the captains call on the 380 Merc IMHO. I am very happy with the merc so far in my '16 A28. Plenty of power and great performance. I live 10 minutes from where the motor is made so I am a bit biased. I had the same motors(twin) in my last boat which was a Formula 310 Sun Sport w...

Re: This or That???
I went with the power arch. As John said manual arch is plenty easy as well. The bimini top makes the arch worth having alone. It is a fantastic and easy top to deploy once you figure it out. Also performs perfect at high speeds without a rattle or an issue.

Re: This or That???
Keep an eye out for it on Winnebago. She sits in a boat house in the Fond du lac Harbor. Frequent visits up your way although mostly up the river in Oshkosh and the Cove. Always looking for a good spot to eat up that direction via boat.......

Re: This or That???
Do not rule out the grey with black boot. It is a great choice. Hydro swim platform is worth it's price. Sea grass is the way to go on the interior vs carpet. No need for satellite if you load up the I phone with play lists. Get the upgraded sound system. I skipped the sea deck on the platform for n...
