What brand do you suggest?

Did you try lifting it up just a bit to make sure it was getting a seal on the bottom?

First rule? No one takes a no.2, so it's all pee.
The only reason my wife wanted a head was for emergency no. 2. Peeing is refilling the lake.

Re: Surf model buying advice

I have noticed a dearth of r4surfs on the used market. That might be my best option if it makes a good wave. There is probably a reason why you notice so many R4s. I'm guessing people weren't that happy and wanted something bigger or with a better wave. When we were in the market a few years ago lo...

Re: Finally - New to Me R7

Plus all the freeboard on these R series makes them more susceptible to side winds. But, when we turn of the engine and just drift in the wind and listen to music, we're going much faster. LOL I haven't tried that yet. I just might have to now! Haha. It's one of our two top things to do when it's j...

Re: Finally - New to Me R7

Gorgeous color combination. I love the fixed arch on ours. Going from a Bimini previously with straps clipped that would vibrate when at speed to this is a game changer. It also seems to provide a small amount of shade from the side which my wife likes. The only draw back is docking with a wind. I ...

No idea, but if this were a question on the Game Show Network, I'd go with fiction.

Re: Pontoon for lifelong powerboater?

Is it a tritoon? I haven't been on a lot of different ones but I'd think the tritoon models will ride much better. There is also Montara, their tritoon reminds me of the ones Cobalt made, they also have a full aluminum bottom surf model. It's my understanding that me max engine you can have is arou...

I don't know if I'd spend the extra money on a mooring cover since you have a covered slip.
That said, we love our mooring cover, but in an effort to make it last longer, we only use it when we close the boat for the winter.
We use a cheap cover for the summer when we're boating a lot.

We don't usually stay out very late and don't use the lights that often, but I'd swear the logo on our 2019 lights up on the inside.

Great find and worth the wait. I've seen a few of those arches on our lake and didn't realize that they were a fixed arch.
