Re: R33 launch?

We priced ours out at $612k. I added the thingamajig cause why not? If it keeps everyone from getting sea sick then it’s a no brainer. I was thinking of selling all my assets and the two kids. I could sleep in the bathroom if needed.

Re: Proper Tongue Weight and How to Measure It

You are correct. I don’t think that most people realize a 3/4 ton doesn’t have much more payload capacity than a half ton truck. Especially if the 3/4 ton has diesel engine. My wife’s F150 has a payload of just over 1600lbs, most 3/4 tons are around 2300-2500lbs, some can be slightly higher dependi...

Re: Proper Tongue Weight and How to Measure It

Just my two cents… when I ordered my truck I was really surprised to see that (back in 2019, who knows now) it was only a few hundred dollars, literally $200 to go from a 3/4 to a 1 ton or F250 to F350. It’s really nice to not have to worry about payload When we pack up for a week at the lake :0). ...

Any idea if you have to change the filler neck also or does it fit stock filler neck?
Looks the same to me. Buy it and give me a yell and we can screw it in together 😂😂
I need a reason to head south. Lol
Wow, Amazon reviews are terrible on it.

Locking Fuel Cap

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a locking fuel cap for a 2019 R5? Would like it to appear stock. I have one these but it doesn’t fit in the gas filler tube. https://nationalsupplydirect.com/locking-insert-for-fuel-deck-fills.html?ff=1&fp=19654&utm_source=paid&utm_cha...

Re: ‘19 R5 Vibration

I had a small nick in one blade the first year of ownership - kicked up some sand with the prop coming back into the marina. Vibration was evident after that. At first I thought it was the engine running rough, but running the engine up in N didn't show any vibration, so it had to be drive train. I...

Re: Surcharge on 22 production

I would assume this is for orders going forward. If they apply a surcharge to an already negotiated deal that you have a deposit on, then that's a very easy way to lose a customer. I’m not sure. It sounds to me like the dealer held the orders until Malibu said to order. Then when they ordered or be...

Installing a windlass (Lewmar V700) on my classic Condesa. (Tired of playing anchor ballerina, and good deckhands are hard to find.) Any tips on what to do/not do? (BB: Don't install it in the stern is not a helpful tip.) Make sure you have enough chain or rope and that it’s attached at the eye hoo...
