Re: Loadmaster trailer
A member reached out to me this week because he is ordering a Loadmaster trailer because he had a few questions about my trailer build. It doesn't look like you have a surge actuator. What braking system did you order your trailer with? I wanted standard electric brakes. It will never see salt wate...

Re: Loadmaster trailer
I've been talking with Megan at Loadmaster for a couple of months trying to decide how I want to equip mine. She sent me a photo of your trailer when I asked about the bow ladder, but your closeup is much better. Do you have a build sheet? Sorry but I don’t. Megan should have it though. She is the ...

Re: Loadmaster trailer
As soon as I submitted the last pictures I found the two I was specifically looking for.. My trailer is pretty much a smaller version of Tuscany’s R7 trailer. Sorry BBP, I know you were hoping for pictures of my EZ Loader trailer. Honestly I think EzLoader has 2 more lights on each side! 😂😂 I think...

Loadmaster trailer
A member reached out to me this week because he is ordering a Loadmaster trailer because he had a few questions about my trailer build. I told him I would send him a few pictures and I thought I might as well share them with everyone, I guess most everyone has seen these already because I am not shy...

Re: Cobalt Branded Accessories
I can’t remember the brand of the fenders I have but I know they fit on a standard 8” fender.

Re: approximate height of R3 on trailer
With the standard bimini they are quite a bit higher than the windshield. My bimini was about 10’2” on my old EZ Loader trailer. Now it’s closer to 10’6” on my Loadmaster. I had the EZ Fold bimini installed since then so it lays flat now and is about the same height as the windshield. The pictures a...

Re: approximate height of R3 on trailer
I have an R5 and when I had my smaller EZ Loader trailer it wouldn’t fit under my 8’, 96” tall door. I never bothered to check but it wasn’t even close to fitting. My new Loadmaster trailer is even taller. I’m sure someone with an R3 will chime in, it can be kinda dead on here in the winter.

Re: Recommendations needed on boat covers
I have the same opinion as Sailor & Bruce. I started with the factory snap bow & cockpit covers and a couple years ago I purchased a factory mooring cover. They both have their strong points but the mooring cover hands down protects the boat better, and stays in place better while towing.

Re: Need advice
I have a 2014 R5 with the VP 380 and just over 200hrs. We love it! I really can’t say anything bad about it, they are great boats!

Re: Has anyone tried R5 Surf on R6 Surf Trailer?
How about putting a 220 on top so I don't have to trailer it anymore 😂😂😂 Let’s try it. I’m game! That would mean that you would have to take your boat out of your garage. I thought I read that you are trying to get on the water full time? I have to air up the tires to get it under the garage door s...

Re: Has anyone tried R5 Surf on R6 Surf Trailer?
I’m sure 17% is fine. Those numbers are based on my half a tank of gas and nothing else in my boat while on the scale. 25 more gallons of gas, a couple coolers full of lemonade, food and ice that 17% shrinks. I am now running with two 6000lb axels so I could put an R3 on top of my R5 and still be f...
