Re: Group Buy - Aquamarine Deck Pad

I did. Super helpful.

My boat and platform should resemble this photo, with primary difference being that the 212 has a two level platform.

Re: Group Buy - Aquamarine Deck Pad

BBP- No. I chose not to have any logo added. Bobo, Are you ordering direct from SeaDek or SCWake? I was going to go with Aquamarine, but they didn't have templates already set-up for the 212. When I called SeaDek same thing - nothing for a 212. But when I called SCWake they were great and informed ...

Another route - skip the factory light option. Buy the SS lights separately and have them installed after you take delivery.

Re: Gents, what are your thoughts on this?

And another one that is close to Liquid's neck of the woods. Right price. Needs a bit of TLC but generally looks clean. It is a Merc big block with a Bravo XZ (single prop) and doesn't have the extended swim platform. Not sure if that's a deal killer for you... https://syracuse.craigslist.org/bod/d/...

Above your target price, but may be worth a look.

Re: Gents, what are your thoughts on this?

Here's a 2001 262 with the tower and extended swim deck. 8,1 Gi, hours are about the same but it is cheaper than your original even when you add in the delivery. https://www.boattown.com/default.asp?page=xPreOwnedInventoryDetail&id=4555914&p=2&s=Year&d=D&fr=xPreOwnedInventory Ju...

I will admit to buying new decals for my trailer. It's a disease.

Misery loces company. Or something like that.

Re: Trailering questions, help please.

Agreed. I would want to keep a close eye. I have a Westland cover for my 2007 and I've towed about 600 miles at speeds up to 70MPH. Does it flap against the hull? A little bit. Has it led to some minor scratches? Yes. They're more like very fine horizontal swirl marks (if that makes sense) and I wil...

Re: Trailering questions, help please.

On newer Cobalt's like yours the factory mooring cover is designed for towing. Here's a video from the manufacturer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjTHYjhz45o No need to drop the bimini. If you're concerned about damage to the Sunbrella from bugs or road debris, I've heard of people wrapping the b...
