Dang, came here to find this thread. We have 2014 R5 and interested in having an enclosure built and mount to soft bimini on the arch. Shop worried that the near vertical drop from the soft bimini to the windshield would create too much pressure at speed and wouldn't warranty the work. They suggest...

only a matter of time. Eventually the tech will improve enough to have long enough run times and folks wont look back.
Unless of course some competing, alternate, clean fuel source engines are developed that overtake EV tech.

If true that is absolutely discrimination but because that discrimination is not based on a protected class not sure there is any recourse. Pretty s****y business practice however. Really surprised he even said that.

you can do that but it costs more. They are trying to essentially do what your saying but to cut production costs and make things more efficient they are using same hull for all boats under 30' long and just changing the rigging based on what you are looking for. If they created two hulls for boats ...
