Camera - Garmin GC-100 Wireless Installations?
I understand that the Garmin 7607 GPS panels can display a wireless feed from a Garmin GC-100 Camera. It would seem that it would be nice to have a live image on one of the Garmin panels showing the the wake when towing tubes, skiers, or wake boards. The cameras are not terribly expensive ($300) and...

Re: Towing from R5 Arch with Bimini
I’m looking for advice on towing skiers from our R5 tower. We just took delivery of our first Cobalt and this is our first experience with a tower. I’m wondering about how the tow rope and the Bimini top work together? It would seem that the rope would chafe on the Bimini? We have an R5 with an alu...

Re: Towing from R5 Arch with Bimini
Only tow wake boards or surfboards from the arch. No ski or tubes! Especially if you have a decent slalom skier behind you. Like Darrell Waltrip told the young racecar driver when asked “can you go wide open into turn two?” Darrell said “you can but I won’t” I’m looking for advice on towing skiers ...

Re: Just Took Delivery!
Did they need to also install a transducer or just the module? Thanks, I have been searching for this answer for a while. Good question. Yes.... I am pretty sure that this required a different transducer, but I don't know which one they used. Dealer added a transom mount ClearVu transducer. See pho...

Re: Just Took Delivery!
Congrats. Can you give some details on sonar? Dealer installed or factory. Looking to do the same on my R7 The dealer installed the module... it is simple plug and play. My original request when ordering the boat was to switch to the .sxv version of the Garmin 7607 (7607.sxv). This version has the ...

Re: Just Took Delivery!
Beautiful boat. Lake Norfork is really nice. Not as crowded as our lake. You purchase your Cobalt from Futrell? Yep... Futrell Marine. Jake was my salesman. This has been an extremely good year for the industry in general and Futrell in particular. Jake was a busy guy but handled all of our needs.

Do you tow with the mooring cover on or off? I am worried about the cover damaging the gel coat. What is the power plant? The boat was delivered from Heber Springs... about 2 hours away with the cover on. There were no issues that I could see when we took it off. The cover fits very nice and tight....

We just took delivery of our first Cobalt, a 2021 R5. (Lake Norfork, N. Central Arkansas). She sports a Navy Blue hull with orange boot stripe and Makassar Dash/Interior Trim. Re: Boat Stall Customizing
Demon! Got it. Thanks I'll get some ordered for spring. Love the boat house photos... doubt that our Army Corps of Engineers would though! They take a negative attitude to just about everything.

Re: Boat Stall Customizing
Thanks for the suggestions. Solar lights is a good idea. And, I knew Taylor Made sold fenders... didn't realize they had a whole line of dock and lighting products. So, thanks for the replies. Pest control is an issue I'd love solutions for. Birds (swallows mostly) love to perch on the cross bars an...

Boat Stall Customizing
We are expecting our new baby, a Cobalt R5, this spring. Always wanted a Cobalt…. finally going to have one! We will keep her on a lift in our covered boat stall in the Arkansas Ozarks. In advance of the arrival, we would like to customize our stall to better protect our boat from dock rash and bird...

Re: R5 Windlass Anchor
Has anyone attached rope to their anchor chain? Wondering if the windlass will work with rope, or will it slip?
