Picture from today at Owls Head ski area overlooking Lake Memphramagog; a 35 mile long lake that straddles VT and Canada. Wonder if they have border patrol on boats where the Canadian border crosses the lake? Would be fun to rip up that lake in summer.

Lake Winnipesaukee broke Ice Out record to and was declared on 3/17. Then we got two feet of snow on 3/23. Ice Out has only occurred in March five times, four of those since 2010. I still have skiing plans through 4/14, but hopefully the following weekend the boat is in and the weather is tolerable ...

I've never seen a 14 to18 person capacity on a boat. Most go from 12 to Yacht Certified. Aren't the R7 and R8 Yacht Certified? My 24sx is 14 or 2250#, whichever comes first. The one time we had 11 was 6 adults and 5 kids. 7 in the back, 4 in the front. Made it work, but not looking to repeat it.

Yeah, can't imagine having 14 on my boat. Had 11 once and swore that will never happen again.

Formula certainly could, but it appears they're most interested in selling boats that are 30' and $500k + these days. Their most recent models are 35'+ CC fishing boats; a first for them. What I don't get about the outboards is that it takes all of the swim platform. I mean, for a fishing boat sure but a runabout? I think the idea for the OB boats is to tap into the saltwater market. Even if I had no intention of fishing, I'd still want OBs vs IOs if I primarily used the boat in sal...

No idea on that, but I'd definitely prefer twin 300 to a single 600. Two motors just give you more control even if you don't get the joystick
