Appreciate your input. Any pics of your Cobalt?

You can definitely get those screws out and slide the entire assembly platform out. It’s actually easier that way. Use a right angled screw driver.

Re: 1998 Cobalt 220 wiring schematic
I’m trying to troubleshoot a couple of gauges that are not reading (voltmeter and engine temp). Luckily I verified that the alternator is producing good power and the engine temp at idle sits around 140-150 degrees F. It has the VP 7.4Gi with the duo prop. I really want the temp to read before I ta...

Re: Red fluid in the blige! NOT COOLANT!!
If someone tops off your hydraulic reservoir (which uses a red power steering fluid) with the hatch up, it will squirt out the rams when the hatch is closed. The reservoir should only be topped off with the rams retracted and the hatch on a prop rod to keep it from squirting out the rams when loweri...

. So glad you found us MnSB....and great to see you in a Cobalt. Like John said, you'll be fine with the single prop. The duoprop gives you excellent hole shot (the time it takes to go from idling while sitting on the water to getting the boat on plane (running on top of the water.) It really helps ...

You’ll be fine at the deeper point even with those two vertical mounts. Any other pics of your boat? And...
