Do either of you know mechanically what VP is doing to get the extra horsepower out of the 4.3 or 5.3. From the spec sheet, I'm showing the 4.3 can be (200, 250 and 280). If the 4.3 280 is operating at the top ending of the horsepower spectrum for the encasement, does that shorten the lifespan? Does...

Looking at a 2016 R3 - is the Volvo Penta 300HP - 5.3 (new design) enough power for the R3.
I've driven a 220 with a 300 and it's amazing but the R3 is 800lbs more.

Anybody have any experience that would be willing to chime in?

There's a 2021 220s 180hrs - Merc 6.2 300 going for 74000.

It did not come with any rubber liner and that's what surprised me. I even called them and they said it should be metal on metal.

So I got my samson rack - it keep spinning on the tower.

It is the talon rack - I put it on and crank it tight with the allan wrench but it still spins. any ideas?
