Great, detailed review of your boat. Nice boat too. It's a shame about the rusting stainless fasteners.

Re: Greetings from Iowa

Sounds like I’ll be having the existing block fully rebuilt. With the dealer pitching in $1,500 it will only cost me around $2,000. Honestly I’m just thankful it happened now and not next spring. Hopefully the block is in good shape and only needs to be honed. Not sure how much extra meat is on the...

Re: Greetings from Iowa

Nice looking boat. Too bad about the engine. Hopefully the rebuild isn't too costly.

Re: Under dash Electrical Connector Type

Big Block - I see some Molex connectors under there, but these are different. The white ones are Molex. Bruceb58 - the link to the AMP connector does look like the purple connectors under the dash. I'm still debating whether I want to drill holes in my dash for a Ram mount. I really miss having a re...

Re: Under dash Electrical Connector Type

Thanks for the reply on the connectors. I searched online for ‎Deutsch connectors and I see dozens of different sizes & kits to make these, but don't see any that look like my boat's specific connector. I'm thinking that I'll just cut the connector off under the dash and splice in the new GPS ca...

Under dash Electrical Connector Type

My '14 200 has these purple connectors under the dash. Can I used one to power my GPS/Fishfinder? What is this type of connector called?

Thanks.

GPS/Fishfinder Options for '14 200

I have a 2014 Cobalt 200. It has the little LCD thing built into the Speedometer that you are all familiar with. Love my Cobalt so far, but I want a more substantial depth finder & plotter. I don't want to drill a bunch of holes either! My previous boat, I just glued an in-hull transponder in th...

When I saw the ad saying 40 hours, I thought it was a typo. I had to call and check.

Thanks Krob1114! The Rodgers days were a long time ago. We're hoping to get a few hours on the water today since the weather warmed up.

Re: New Member - '14 Cobalt 200

We've boated the Missouri for a long time. The nearby lakes are just too small. I'd boat the Mississippi too if it was close enough.

Thank you, AsLan7! I like the layout of the whole swim platform. Haven't actually used the swim step yet. We've sat out by the platform with the step up. Will keep an eye on that pin.
