Re: Garmin 743XSV Chartplotter with Airmar B150M in 262
I recently had the Garmin 743 and B150M transducer installed on my 262. When they hooked it up, I lost the depth gauge display and depth reading on the digital display within the speedometer. Can they be kept active along with the Garmin and if so are any additional cables needed?

Aquamarine Deck color options
One of our preseason updates is adding Aquamarine Deck to the entire floor and platform. We're finalizing on the color pattern and are concerned about having a lighter color border. The swatch in the middle- Walnut/Cashmere is a front runner but I'm thinking it will be an issue to keep the grooves c...

Re: 2011 262 Electrical issue
We lost all of the gauges on the dash and Nav and interior lights. The circuit breakers under the dash were fine but found the reset on the relay? Mounted above the port battery with the help of someone at the marina. I’ll be looking for a ground issue this weekend to hopefully fix the problem.

2011 262 Electrical issue
Looking for help in troubleshooting an electrical issue. We purchased our 262 last year and only used the docking lights once. After having them on for 2-3 minutes they completely shorted out the dash gauges. I planned on converting them to LED to reduce the draw but haven’t started that project yet...

Re: Is Cobalt mostly a lake boat?
I’m using our 262 on the Chesapeake bay and it handles the 1’-2’ chop well. It’s heavy enough to not get bounced around while the hull does a good job cutting thru the waves. Going with the OB for saltwater is definitely a better option.

Re: Bolster seat repair
@slideruleracer - Glad I found this post. Looks like I'm in need of at least 1 kit for my seats on my 2011 262. The passenger seat base is cracked on both sides where the hinges attach. I removed the back cushion of the seat to check it out. The driver seat may also have a similar issue but not as s...

Why Wait
Hi everyone !! We recently purchased a 2011 Cobalt 262 and I'm not sure why we waited so long to join the club. Been around boats for years but haven't owned one in a long time. We started looking earlier this year and the lack of used boat inventory made the search a slow process. Thru this site an...
