I have a 380 hp Volvo forward Drive looking on information where I can get the Service and maintenance manual for this I believe I found it on Volvos website part number 47708014 It looks like it’s $40 but it will not let me order it or I’m too blind to see how to. Re: Trailer modification ideas for R7 Surf
Drive in pic is trimmed fully up
As far as exhaust in pics I am assuming the boat has staggered mounted engines which is why the exhaust is the way it is.
However I fully understand OCD and it bothers me know that you spotted it.

Re: Trailer modification ideas for R7 Surf
So my plan is to cut out all of the metal re-work the back bunk support so the outside frame rails support it and then adding a swing away Drive protector similar to the pics And since we are all geniuses on here I figure we could come up with a way to modify my trailer and of course spend my money

Re: Help with Volvo FWD winterizing process
Zack I agree you might be the fwd specialist here. And BobRae is 100%correct. I wouldn't listen to us. So I'll give you my 2 cents on the fuel filter /fogging . Remove it drain some gas and add 2 stroke oil to it let the engine suck it in and shut the engine off its fogged. No need to remove good s...

Re: Help with Volvo FWD winterizing process
Well with reading all of your response I have decided how I am going to proceed with the winterizing process. 1. Warm up engine on fresh water from garden hose through flush system (connect next to outdrive not in the engine compartment. (water pickup is different on FWD and I have been advised by ...

Re: Help with Volvo FWD winterizing process
Taking it to the dealer is the obvious response, however I am anal and would prefer to do the work myself so any help would be appreciated. I know about the quick drain feature and have already drained that. Here’s a little about me, I grew up on a lake around Mercruser my whole life helping / learn...

Re: Trailer bunk slides...Thoughts
My problem is the windless catches the bow stop (yes the trailer is designed for the windless). If I go deep enough to clear the bow stop the rear bumper of my truck will be in the water. This is the same trailer that took out my fwd drive as well (heritage)
