Does anyone have any pics of this?

Re: Added SeaDek to my ‘05 220
What colour is that? Terra or Cool Gray? Looks great.
I have the same dilemma... Seadek just quoted me $3,500 for 6mm for my Cobalt 282
Really want something like it; Think I'm going to have to get myself very drunk before I order it...

Re: Added SeaDek to my ‘05 220
Awesome! Thinking of doing the the same colour for my Cobalt 282. Do the pieces come pre-cut or did you have to do all the hard work yourself?

Cobalt EVA Flooring
Howdy All, I was wondering if anyone with an older boat has looked at these Cobalt EVA floor add-ons? https://www.ebay.com/itm/403395126595 "EVA floor is 6mm or 1/4inch thick, two-tone color. The floor comes with marine backing adhesive, it is peel and stick installation. Customers do not need ...

Cobalt 282 Replacement Light
Howdy All, I was wondering what everyone does for LED light replacements on older boats? I have a 2008 Cobalt Bowrider 282 and looking to replace the transom lights . I'm looking at a similar style replacement as there are a total of 5 dotted around. This one doesn't look to bad - https://rivermarin...

Re: 282 Battery Setup
Nice post, lots of good info in there. Mine are the Optima D34M Starting and Deep Cycle Marine batteries - one from 2017 and the other from 2019. I have chosen not to replace them, I checked the voltage and while not new they are are still in decent working order and as you say, with two you have a ...

Starters, Solenoids and Clicking
Something else broke this week. Mostly my fault - boat won't start, I drained the batteries and I assume fried the starter/solenoid as there is a funky electrical smell whenever I try start the boat and it just clicks now, I thought the smell was the batteries but no, replaced the old battery and th...

Re: 282 Battery Setup
Mine arrived, its a great add-on but its not a panacea for old batteries. I fooked up the other day on the water and drained the batteries turning off and on the engine to many times. Now I think I've burnt out the solenoid as the boat won't start even with a new battery. sigh. Now it just clicks an...

Re: 282 Battery Setup
Thanks for the info, I'm currently slow charging the batteries now when not in use, but its a bit of a pain to jump in the engine bay each time. Installing a battery tender in the boat is a great idea. I found this bad boy on amazon, looks great - I just looked at that one this weekend. I'm going w...

Re: Cobalt 282 with 2 beeps - IAC?
Battery Health? I 'm not familiar with your boat but do you have smart gauges. Reset on the gauges? I'd consult the manual first.. Did you buy the engine manual? Ignition key O'K - alarm when starting? If you've owned the boat for 6 months I'd look around wiggle wiring harness check the fuses, get ...

282 Battery Setup
Hey guys, I've purchased a 282 with two Optima D34M batteries - one 2017 and the other 2021. I've been reading about having separate starting battery and deep cycle batteries. Is this a common approach? The CCA of the starting battery looks to be only 800 CCA vs 750 CCA. Does that really make much d...

Re: New Member from over the pond
Thanks I found it - https://slideruleracing.com/shop/ My to do list is growing  Great pics indeed. Where did you get an umbrella for your 232? My wife is going to want one of those! Great pics! I looked up where you are on the map and it looks beautiful. We have a bit of the UK at our lake as w...

Re: Cobalt 282 with 2 beeps - IAC?
Thanks AsLan7, I always keep some on the boat now with a bottle of coolant too. That stalling at startup is back, even with the clean flame arrestor. The engine is dying without neutral throttle whilst starting. OK when warm but cold starts I have to use neutral throttle. I'm going to Fedex in the V...
