Re: Parts Online
I usually use https://www.volvopenta.com/shop/ to find parts. You can enter your engine or drive serial #, then look up parts diagrams to identify the specific parts you need. For purchase, both https://www.cecilmarineonline.com/ and https://discountvolvopentaparts.com/index.php?route=common/home ar...

Re: Suggestion on trim tabs for 2005 282
I installed electric Lenco on my A28 last year (Lenco 12x9 tabs and actuators 10995-103) and love them. 12x12 is likely appropriate, per comments above. Highly recommend paying the few extra dollars to get the switch with LED indicator so you know position of tabs.

Re: Buying 2003-226 or 1997 220
Fund spending other people's money :-) ......But yes, the newer boat sounds like it checks more boxes - immaculate, swim platform, walkthrough, cleaner mechanical history (theoretically) and overall newer design. Put this together and the cost gap overtime will likely close due to maintenance and de...

Take a look at the 'A25 Trim Tabs' conversation. This has much of the information you need, including the 'Cobalt Special Order' part numbers from Lenco.

Re: 2016 R7 stereo/battery/voltage issue! Help
I had the same issue a few weeks ago when I got my boat back from storage. Turned our my batteries (only one year old) were not holding a change and the low voltage message would kick on. Replaced the batteries and have not seen the message since. How long does it take for your batteries voltage to ...

Re: A25 Trim tabs
Mccoy38 Can you please confirm if you were able to use an existing wiring harness from the factory? Curious if these boats are pre-wired, meaning I can tap into wiring harness inside engine box that runs to helm. Appears there are extra wiring harneses/not used and curious if any are for tabs.

Re: Curse of the Black Dots - Soluition
I've used many non-bleach based products. Last season we used a tablespoon of powder Tide and hot water. This solution lifted the black mildew right off the seats easier and faster than any expensive product I've ever used. Then wiped the seats down with clean warm water, dried and finished with 303...

Re: A25 Trim tabs
McCoy38 This is super helpful. I've been thinking about adding trim tabs to my A28. I had them on my 272 and really utilized them (same conditions you mentioned). I'll call to verify, but assume I can use the same package as you. Curious, are these electric or hydraulic? Do you have a 8.1L or 6/6.2L...
