I truly have no idea, but could it be anit-freeze?

I installed one several years ago, there was a deutsch connector in the stern labeled LED or underwater lights or something, plugged it in there and the helm button worked.
Very easy install. It kind of flickers while idling but holds steady while underway.
I wouldn't worry about leaks.

The dealer installed the latches. I will try to remember to get a picture next time I am at the lake.

Yes, there are latches that are installed on the underside of seat that flips. Sorry I don't have any pictures of that.

That makes no sense, but your right that it isn't even offered as an add on when building a boat. Seems like every year they are a little less desirable to me. Starting last year I just took out the batteries and used the EZ Drain system. Temps got Very cold this past winter, I had no problems. I used to run antifreeze through the eigne but decided to give the EZ drain a try and happy I did.

I have brand new carpet sitting in my closet, didn't even have it installed. First thing I did when I got the boat was put the Sea Dek in. Highly recommend over carpet.

More likely, he had that look on his face because he hadn't caught a fish and knew he was going to have to lie about how good of a fisherman he was.
