I found out that 10" pop-out cleats will replace the retractable line mechanism.

The starboard line toward the stern is missing the end that keeps it from fully retracting inside the boat, so I tied a knot in it. The retractable mechanism is fully functional, but I am worried that the rope may not be long enough. Also, I would like to be able to place a bumper back there.

Retractable Dock Line Replacement
My 2011 302 has retractable dock lines at the bow and stern. Is anyone aware if you can replace those with a cleat? TIA
