Re: Hill Country Lakes - Great State of Texas
Our marina on Lake Travis has closed their fuel dock until further notice and advised us of some new rules: "Do not raft up with other boats. Do not hang out at the marina. Get in your boat and leave and when you come back from boating, get to your vehicles. You are only allowed your immediate ...

Nice! That'll be the ideal place to go and relax. I haven't even de-winterized yet.
What's the consensus? Is winter officially over in Austin, TX?

Re: I think I gotta punch it
I had my Hook-7 windshield mounted last year too, with RAM mounts, and it wasn't cutting it. I decided to fashion a couple of brackets and use the existing screws on my console. It's been a good solid solution. Here's the skinny: https://www.cobaltchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2938&p=59195#p...

Re: Economical option to the stock Cobalt fender clip
Hi TwoBurgers. Thanks for the tip! This looks like an awesome and economical way to clip mount fenders ($14.11 ea.), no drilling required! We keep our bimini mounted but, when it's not deployed, the front base is available for this type of solution which could save some time and may provide better p...

Re: GPS For my 232
Is that a tilt wheel? Photo G mounted his right above the wheel and it looks good. May be the only solution with your dash config. I mounted my Hook-7 above the steering wheel, primarily because there were two factory screws there. Looking at Mike's dash, that's probably not an option because of th...

Update: I have not been able to make work, so I'll still be zippering up my crossbars.

Re: GPS For my 232
That looks great! I'm guessing that the bow pass-through is wider on a 232 (never been on one), than on my 210. Unfortunately, if I set up my Hook-7 in that configuration, it would constantly get whacked when I have a boat full of happy folks (myself included) moving around inside while anchored and...

Re: Bimini Storage Posts Positions
@ Bigghauss: I've always zipped up the cross-bars too, but I'll try laying it down without doing that on my 210 this weekend.
