Re: Loadmaster trailer

It’s okay, we don’t have to agree. You have a tendency to disagree with most of us on here.. There is absolutely nothing wrong with properly working electric brakes. I agree. I like people to share their opinion and say what they like. I don’t that some of us decide that there is only one way of do...

I actually agree with you on some things....boat covers for one. Tuscany and I seem to be in agreement with the EOH ...

Re: Loadmaster trailer

I can completely disagree on this. Weeks before I change my crappy electric drum brakes to EOH disks, I almost did get into an accident. I am 100% confident that my new EOH disc brakes would never have put me close to the same predicament. Many many years ago, I drove a car with 4 wheel drum brakes...

Re: Loadmaster trailer

No inner fender liners? I'd be installing something in there ASAP. I've had a boat trailer tire blowout, and they can easily damage the boat. Luckily, the trailer/boat it was on, had inner fender liners made of plywood. They were tore up to hell, and needed replaced, but stopped any damage from tir...

Re: Loadmaster trailer

Yeah, I did struggle with the decision on drum vs. disc brakes. Megan really recommended the drums as the activate faster. Also saved 2K. However they work, it will be an improvement on my single-axle surge discs. She told you that drums activate faster? She would be correct if it was a hydraulic/s...

Re: Loadmaster trailer

EOH was a must for me. Braking smooth is a thing when you are heavy and at highway speed. It’s a totally sealed hydraulic unit from frame mounted actuator to the stainless calipers. The obvious differences are apparent with discs vs. drums, but what isn’t apparent is the absolute seamless braking. M...

Re: January 2023 Pics

My wife and I rented some jet-skis in Bonita Beach a couple of years ago. While out there, four dolphins put on a show next to us like we were in the front row of Sea-World. Jumping, cackling...all of it. We just stopped and sat there while they did their thing. We looked at each other and said, &qu...

Re: Trailer Recommendation

My old cheap junk shorelinr trailer that came with my old boat would squeak and creak over every road.. Never a sound out of the spring set Loadmaster uses, most likely because there is no frame flex using C channel. On my travel trailer with leaf springs, I use greaseable shackle bolts...quiet as ...

Re: Towing with a car?

More importantly than towing capability to me, is braking power. That’s why I use a truck.

Re: Trailer Recommendatio

JMO, Personally, I’ve never been a fan of torsion. I have four trailers with torsion axles. 26’ and 12’ box, a 24’ commercial deck over and a snowmobile trailer. They do offer positives, and run the trailer height a little lower. My main issue? Torsion axles do not equalize axle weigh like springs. ...

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!

I know EV will be the future once electrical infrastructure becomes widespread and battery tech is perfected, but it definitely doesn’t fit my lifestyle currently. We just placed an order for a new truck and tow vehicle, which looks to be an almost 1 year wait. . Awesome T. Be sure to get a...
