Re: My 2 cents on wheel bearings
Once I got my hubs to stop leaking they have been great. One turned out to be a bad hub/disc...couldn't get it to stop leaking, finally replaced it and no more problems. Normal hubs and bearings, and the axles have the ez-lube fittings or whatever they are called. I bought oil bath caps for them, wh...

Re: What fuel grade/first boat.
Hey everyone... We just bought our first boat. A 1997 Cobalt 200 with a 5.7L EFI Merc. I was just curious what grade fuel I should be using. Should I go with the 91 octane premium, or just use regular 87? Thanks -Mike. There's nothing special or premium about higher octane numbers by themselves. Al...

Re: The past. The future.
I ordered a PowerWall from Tesla last October. Still waiting. I need to go find a 3rd-party installer and just get it done before PG&E starts turning off the power again this fall. - Mark That's frustrating. I ordered end of April, they did installation mid July, passed inspection 2 weeks ago a...

Re: The past. The future.
Tax breaks and without them the cars would not be viable. Tax breaks are long gone for Tesla. Still selling everything they can build. I used to hot rod GM trucks (turbo 408 stroker in an extended cab 4wd that ran low 11s on the strip, and a Duramax swapped 1500), had some of the fun late model Pon...

My speedo is fairly accurate at lower speeds, but runs high on the top end. Last time I saw 65 on the factory speedo I think my GPS was showing 56-57. But I'm sure each is a little different. Mines dead on all the way through. That's cause you keep your blow hole cleaned out by running wide open al...

Re: 2005 Trail Rite Surge Brakes
I can definitely tell I don't have boat trailer brakes. I also pull a 33ft 5th wheel and it has brakes and seems to stop easier than my boat trailer. Luckily I have a 1 ton dually so it doesn't affect it as much as it would a 1/2 ton truck. I will be getting some DOT4 and filling it up to see what ...

I'm in. You have the T5billion to put down on it. 😂😂 We don't need a loan! Just need to intercept a container full of AA batteries and make it disappear   We can start the business up at TRL and work through the summer (as long as it's inside with A/C), then come back to Phx in the winter...

Re: The past. The future.
I had a customer with a Tesla who would drive from Biringham to a Tunica, Mississippi casino, park and recharge. One day he missed a turn, went out of his way a little, and car stopped one mile away. Cost him a lot...but I don't know what his "a lot" is. It's all relative. Wind direction,...

Re: The past. The future.
Off peak is great on the plan I'm on, but we have a $17.50/kw demand charge during the 3-8pm peak period. I've seen as high at 9.5kw, so it adds up quick. Different plans available with higher kwh charges and smaller or no demand charge. I'm currently waiting for utility approval to turn on the 11.4...

Re: The past. The future.
So with the extra superduty charges will that decrease battery life? The odds always a trade off. The charging stations really need to get built up. How much cheaper is a gal of electricity on the road then gas? Yes, faster charge makes more heat, and heat shortens battery life. For people who supe...

Re: 2005 Trail Rite Surge Brakes
T5billion is it cheaper and better to just rebuild this trailer? Lol, I see what you did there 🤣 Depends on what it needs. If he can put new brakes on and call it good, then I think yes. If it needs brakes, fenders, bunks, springs, lights, wiring, wheels, tires, a spare tire mount, and a new jack, ...
