I use 3/8” braided on my anchor lines, we pretty much always double up bow and stern in the bay so we can stay pointed in to the wakes rolling in which many times is perpendicular to the current. Look great! Did you use any sealant, as I didn't see any in the picture. If not, then you should use 3M 5200 adhesive to ensure secure installation and seal the cut fiberglass.
