Ski Pylon

Post by blracklabelreb »

I have 2008 232 and the ski pylon is gone. Ive been trying to locate one everywhere and can not fine one. I ordered one through my cobalt dealer and it was backordered at first and now they tell me that they can not get one. The hole measures 2 5/8. Any suggestions?

This one might work. The price is right and the dimensions look good.

This one might work also, as it has a Cobalt part number.

Here's a 2-5/8" OD pylon, but it may be too short.

I have no idea. Mine is maybe 8" deep, but it is on a 2011 242. There's other members here who can give you better advise than I can give on the length.

But it is the right OD to fit if you like the design.

Do you have the receptacle, but are only missing the pylon, or are you missing both?

You might try calling Cobalt directly. If nothing else they can give you a part number and dimensions.

Is it just like this? The first one looks the same. I can't get out to measure mine or I would.
I think these are the receptacle. I have to ask what happened to the shaft :-) Pylon!

When I bought the boat the pylon was missing and I didn't notice it until I went to use it.
