Nope.I haven't tried too hard lately.I just listen to my wife whine about the whistle then go faster so it quits.lol
I sold my props they were rebuilt and I don't think they were holding the water very good so I'm going to almost new ones.working on deals so I have replacements with in a week or so. Have vacation. Going out tomorrow then pulling them off.

The final verdict was a massive crack in the block. It's not salvageable. My father is having surgery so he's going to hold off until the spring to make a decision.

I bought my boat with a cracked block from freezing. It was the second time the guy let it happen (duh) so the motor only had 30 hours on it. All the components were good and I had to have everything switched over to a new block bored 30 over. New pistons, rings, bearings, bushings, seals, oil pump, machine work, head work, ect. It was MUCH more cost effective than ordering a new long block. If your going to upgrade though, obviously it wouldn't work. Just a thought...

I thought he said it got repowered with the same size engine. It's been awhile since we talked about it. Let's see when he responds. I know they were using it this year.

He replaced the block. He ended up doing all the work himself. The only thing he had to bring it to the marina for was to get it timed properly. Good as new we ran it pretty hard the few times he was able to get it out and it ran quite well.

Good deal. I knew you told me at one time what he did.
