Oil for Volvo Penta marine engines

What is Volvo Penta oil? According to someone who appears to be in the know, it's Mobil 1 15w-50 in Europe, and plain 30w synthetic in the US. Fortunately, Mobil 1 15w-50 is available at any Walmart.
