Well went to Sturgeon Bay Wi Saturday. First time really boating big water. Quite different than inland lakes. Lots of big big boats and there wakes just come out of nowhere. It was a blast and I'll do it again. For those of you that don't know where this is it's in the middle of the thumb in Wi. There is a shipping channel that goes from lake Michigan to the bay of Green Bay.It prob saves the big ships two or more hours then to go around to the top of the thumb. Michigan was not friendly. That is the picture of the red light House but it's still cool. So we boated Green Bay. We ran all the way up to fish creek and egg harbor. Great time and fun.

That's a lot of outboard! Pretty cool photos - I made it out this weekend, but up in northern Minnesota in a 16' fishing boat with a 15hp tiller motor.

Only 2000 hp that's crazy. Over a $100,000.00 just in power plants. I guess carpet sales are good for him lol

Taking a 20 footer into Lake Michigan is pretty brave. My Dad had a 26' that he kept slipped in South Haven, Michigan. Went out a few times when the conditions were mild, but still felt like that boat was getting tossed around pretty good.

It's 24 ft with the platform. We only went out a 100 yards. I know it's limitations. I didn't have too much water coming over the front so we were good. Heck I can get wet in our inland lakes. It's just a cool shipping channel to be able to go from the bay of Green Bay to lake Michigan in a half hour. The bay was calm the lake not so much. My sil and brother were never on the big lake Adi just wanted to show them it. We were with a 26 ft boat also. I think mine was just as good in the water as his.he just had a cuddy which is a bonus for that water.
