She's spectacular. Congratulations and I'm glad the bs is over.

Go enjoy your boat.

Man notstockforlong, I thought I had issues this year. I joined this forum July 29th --just after you had the electrical fire at the end of May, so I completely missed your thread.

Thank goodness it all worked out in the end.

Beautiful boat you got there now.

Here's to hoping you and I will have many hours of trouble free boating next year. Cheers

Wow, sucks that you had the fire but kudos to Cobalt for stepping up and making it right. Hope the new boat treated you well this summer!

Indeed! I have quite a few upgrades planed for the off season, so next year should be a blast. I was keeping track of your thread up until a few weeks ago when school started up, so I kind of lost track. I'll have to check back in and see how things are going.

I really can't complain with how it worked out. Other than the initial scare, it makes for a fun story, and they basically let me put whatever I wanted on the replacement boat. Maybe I should have asked for a few more things, but I was already beginning to feel guilty with the options I did choose.

It definitely did. And, we now have more Cobalt mugs, cups, towels, and t-shirts than we'll ever use

Alright, here's a link to the boat build pics...finally. I have tried to upload them a few times, but I keep getting an error saying they are over-sized, even though I have resized them to well within the limits.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ywHDz ... 44zRJD4cL8

Anyway, these are all the photos sent to me by Cobalt's customer service manager Lance, who was awesome to work with, as they built the 2018 CS22 to replace the burned 2017 CS1. Only the engine (VP-300) and outdrive were salvaged from the original boat.

The pics on the water are of the Cobalt crew taking it for a test drive before it left the factory, and the last few on the trailer are from the day it showed up at my house.

That is so cool I could have comments on every picture. I love how the engine compartment lifts up almost straight up. I love the led lights above the swim platform. It's so cool to see how they wire it. I would like vids of how they drill every hole. I just love it. Congrats again.

I agree.... so cool seeing how your Boat came together! Seeing it in two halves is also amazing.

Great pics! Definitely the easiest way to post all of them. Thank you.

Btw, if you ever want to post one or two pics and site says it cannot due to size, just open pic in Microsoft paint and then save. Seems to be able to post after that is done.

Again, congrats on your new baby, notstockforlong. You’ll be living up to your username before you know it. 8-)
