Launching/loading 210 solo

Post by cobalter »

I previously had a 23 foot tri-pontoon and it was easy to launch by myself as it had the bow ladder. Now, with my 210 am wondering how folks accomplish this? My dealer showed me how to power launch/load with partner and that is not a problem. Just wondering how others do a solo launch when an occasional trip by yourself? I may or not be beside a dock. Do you back in and climb over bow, unhook bow hook and power off?? Due to storms have not had a chance to look at this closer yet. Usually have my partner but not always.

Without a dock, or a place that's easy to beach the boat, I think a solo launch would be tough. Otherwise, you an push it off the trailer from the bow, jump on the bow, and bring it to dock without much difficulty. I've found that it can be hard to unload and walk over to a dock (like we used to do with aluminum fishing boats) if there's much wind at all.
