moth balls

Post by Cobalt »

Maybe this has been already covered.
Pros and cons of using moth balls in a boat to keep spiders out?
Would the chemical in them in some way damage the vinyl or stitching?

People have used dryer sheet strategically placed to keep mice and other critters out with no ill effect, but I'm not sure about actual mothballs. Anyone else have experience?

This will work A LOT better:

1oz per gallon. Get a pump sprayer. Spray as a perimeter and in the nooks and crannies. Reapply after any rain. Causes cancer exclusively in California.

I forgot to mention the boat stays on a lift all year, next to a State park.
