Not getting to operating temp was causing the computer to adjust the fuel mixture. Replaced the thermostat and took it out yesterday, I got another 700 RPMs on the top end and the acceleration stumble improved as I drove it around. New spark plugs are in, the old ones were foiled due to the rich mixture.

Nice follow-up RSoo1. So is she running’s 100%?

Proves the point that if a part is replaceable on a 20 year old boat, and reasonable in cost, you would be wise to replace it. This includes rebuilding the outdrive and the gimble if yours is 20 years old.
