220 Depth Finder
220 Depth Finder
Recently purchased a 2003, 220. I found an older post that explained the programing of the depth finder. I was not able to find the reservoir to check the level of the "pink Stuff". With that said, the alarm continues to beep. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

.
So glad you found us G220.
Not sure about your particular rig but the thru hull setup has a puck that unscrews on the very bottom of the hull in the engine compartment.
If you have the transom setup then the transducer mounted on the outside rear of your transom may be aerating causing your indicator to blink, which may be setting off the alarm.
The only other issue is normally the alarm settings itself, which you may have set above zero, causing the alarm to go off.
Any pics?
And welcome aboard mate.

Re: 220 Depth Finder
Your transducer is right by your starboard motor mount. The top part of it rotates off and then it should be filled with a fluid to a line in the inside of it. Also sounds like your min depth alarm is set to on and too shallow hence the alarm maybe. You just have to sit and play with it or get it in the off position. Make sure it's set to feet and not fathoms either.
