reaching out on a limb...boat cover

Post by TwoDuckDad »

I'm interested in getting an exact fit dock cover with Sunbrella fabric for my 2007 250 with factory tower and factory swim platform. I've contacted Taylormade and they do not have such a pattern available.

Anyone know of a manufacturer who offers what I'm looking for?

I went through this exact thing last summer on our 2007 240. Westland makes three different versions for the 240, with the most expensive version for the factory tower and extended swim platform.

Bald Mike’s is the go-to guy for buying Westland covers at a nice discount.

Do you have any local places to have a custom made cover? We have one and our first boat sported a cover from them. It was much sturdier than cobalt factory cover. I considered them for our new boat but the time frame we to receive our boat did not allow time for them to make one.

I am waiting for a back-ordered R4 outboard mooring cover from Cobalt. funny, they are still making R4's, why aren't they making the mooring covers?! So in desperate times, i reached out to Omar, the tent maker. Keep the brand names off the covers and they get realistic in pricing. Even included an outboard cover. I like that.

even cheaper today if you don't need the outboard cover, save a buck!
