ACR (VSR) Location & Discussion

Post by pchoate1 »

Starting a new post to link another post where the discussion shifted from a different topic to a possible ACR issue.
Not sure if this is the correct or best way to create a link to another post.

Update: I checked and confirmed the original BEP VSR was not working. Replaced it with a Blue Seas ACR. Charging of both batteries is now working. I also installed the optional LED so I could easily check the ACR function but for some reason the LED is not working. I did re-check the wiring to make sure it was correct so not what is going on there.

How was your VSR wired? I presume you have a battery switch off-on-combine?

Did you have one starting and one house? Which battery was which(port and starboard)?

How did you connect the new ACR? Which model ACR did you use?

Thanks again!

I can point you to threads of a few others who have done an ACR install, such as:
