R5 Swim Platform Speakers

Post by Tandjmei8 »

For a 2020 R5 with Premium Sound Package (JL Audio), a couple of quick questions…
-Do the transom/swim platform speakers carry the distance to a wakeboarder/tuber?
-Do they have an independent volume control or are they connected to the rest of the cabin?

Trying to figure out if I’m going to want to pick up some Wetsounds tower speakers (Rev 8’s or 10’s).

Thanks!

The carry of the speakers is surely subjective and how much can you really expect from a pair of 8" (?) speakers but I think they sound good (I'm told by SO to turn them down all the time.) They do have a separate volume control.
