The wildly inaccurate water and air temps

Post by Stagdad »

I have a 2017 220s with the standard gauge package (non garmin). Does anyone know where the temp sensors live that sends the values to the indicator? Lake water is usually displayed as ~10 degrees warmer than actual as does the ambient air temp readings. Instead of actual numbers maybe they should just display cold, warm and hot! Not a big deal but just wondering if it is possible to relocate them or calibrate them? Does everyone's do this?
