2007 Cobalt 252 w/brand new engine

Post by itzazkrit »

Been a few years but have another nice cobalt to sell. Its a friend of ours. He got this boat as a bonus to a house he bought. Had a cracked block from an unusual winter storm in south texas. Rather than sell as is, he put 20k+ into the boat for a new motor and a new trailer.

Details....

Asking $49k or best offer

2007 Cobalt 252 with BRAND NEW long block installed w/ <5 freshwater hours runtime. Hull has 191hrs and is in excellent condition inside and out with minimal wear and tear for its age. Gelcoat still shines and the interior hides are still soft. Boat has spent its life on a fresh water lake in Texas under cover and fully covered. Loaded from the factory with a 8.1L Volvo big block and duoprop outdrive, convertible sunpad, docking lights, head, bimini, cover, snap in carpet, plus much more. New McClain aluminum tandem trailer included.

Clean clear title in hand. Contact for more information, nitpicks, or to make an offer. Can help find financing or transportation. Motivated to sell and all reasonable offers considered. Call or text Brandon @ five 1 two eight 0 eight 8 four two 8. Cheers!

Seems to be a fair price and it looks really clean. Good luck.

Appreciate it! Yeah it's a nice boat. I was just looking on boats.com to check the market again. Seems like everything is super high hours with lots of interior damage or pretty rough or people asking $60k. Had a street flipper try and tell me its only worth $31k lol. Thinks he can buy for repossessed prices at the auction, off the street. Same type of people that cant afford it, and want the cheapest price available; but the most premium example out there.

I'm more realistic. Send any and all offers! Cheers!

Look at NADAGuides.com. When I bought my boat it was very close to that average price. You may get more with the new engine.

Yeah I'd think it would pull close to high retail considering the condition and what else I've seen out there. Texas boats also seems to pull premium over the northern stuff. Needs very little work to be fully sorted out in my opinion.

You'll get $50k for that, no problem, once weather warms up and people start spending time on the lake. I wouldn't come down until at least July if I were you. Best of luck with your sale!
