Yes June was brutally cold there. You experienced an anomaly with 90’s in July. Averages are well below that.

Believe it or not Erie water gets much warmer (almost 80) because the lake is so shallow. The cuddy still pays off for us even on multiple 80+ degree days which we have had too.

Tahoe water temp was extra cold this year because of all the snow we received.

We always get into the 90s the past few years. Also a reason many people are adding A/C to their homes up here.

Ya, there was a run on air conditioners two years ago with a hotter than normal June coupled with smoke that didn’t allow folks to open their windows at times. Other than that, the cooler temps and low humidity will have folks grabbing a blanket most of the year. One thing we never get tired of though is that crystal clear water reflecting those beautiful mountains.

Yep...this is a magical place. This picture from my bike ride up to Fallen Leaf lake a couple days ago.

Happy spring! Looking at these two boats to bring to Tahoe. Any thoughts or recommendations from our experienced community here? Both similarly priced, and have the options I am looking for… Which are; extended swim platform, HO motors (while I prefer Volvo, these are both Mercury), trim tabs and captains call. I would remove the tower from the 255.
