BB, I thought about that or maybe on the trim rams since there are 2 of them. Or if they didn't come from the factory I might just leave them off.

Gonna leave them off, that'll help me sandbag when racing for pinks

Amazing job t550! What a transformation. Your dad would be proud of your Cobalt handiwork. Great drive shower addition.

I bet she gained 1 mph too now that she’s as smooth as a baby’s bottom ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Btw, nice garage floor too. 👌🏻

Nice job! I would have had paint and gel coat all over that floor :-)
I thought that was sand marks on the drive till I realized it was the reflection. Lol. Now you only have the housing left. What a difference.
It's weird looking at a drive with one prop now.lol

Thanks guys! A7, it's FreeFlow from Racedeck. Good stuff, wish I would have gotten solid tiles though instead of the FreeFlow. FreeFlow sucks for trying to kneel on, and I have dropped all kinds of stuff between the slats

BBP, there were some pretty aggressive sanding or grinding marks on the skeg when I started sanding, you can see them in the pic I posted with the lower sanded down. I used 220 for everything, did the nooks and crannies by hand/foam block and used my random orbit sander for the larger areas.

Yes kneeling and dropping stuff in them would piss me off. I still may get my floor professionally epoxied like our work floors. But I have other places like boats to spend almost $3k on. Low on the list.

Racedeck was only 1200 for my 2 car garage and I did it alone in about 6 hours. 90% of it was down in the first 45 minutes or so, the rest of the time was measuring and cutting (and figuring out how to tile under those racks on the right side without removing them).

Yes that looks awesome. My third stall is 14x30 plus I have two floor drains. Do they make tiles for drains. Im just under 1000sq ft.

Ok did some quick research. 3.79 for a sq ft of RD. $3800 + edging pieces. Yea that's not going to happen. Bummer :o
