Just saw a report that La Nina is happening this winter...warmer dryer winter in the south west, more boating! Yippee!

First cold front came thru here last week. All the way down to 58 at night and only got up to 73 deg during the day. Drastic conditions.

Well, we're used to adversity here in Texas. When the going gets tough, the tough get going and all that jazz. It's when we get a good ice storm that I hunker down. All these Texans and transplanted Californians don't know the first thing about ice and snow. Having worked and lived all over the world I can manage, but you're taking you life in your hands when you depend on the others knowing anything about what they are doing. It's bumper cars and roll overs everywhere.

Sounds like Utah drivers in a snow storm just can't seem to slow down or that 4wheel drive helps you go but if you need to turn or stop better hang on tight.

Around here I dont have to wait for bad weather to witness clueless drivers. I just watch a minivan take 5 minutes to figure out how to drive into the car wash. They kept turning left hitting the rail that protects the carwash . The one time I dont have my phone with me.
