Cobalt has partnered with Facheris Design (http://www.facherisdesign.com/) for at least some upcoming projects, per http://www.tradeonlytoday.com/2016/09/c ... -designer/.
Does this mean we'll see more 30-40+ foot Cobalt boats in the next few years, or simply that they want their current product range to be more distinctive? I can't imagine they hired them to re-vamp my beloved but discontinued 210

Maybe to help design a 180? We will find out soon or a few years. I'll wait twenty years so I can afford it. Thanks for the update John.

Looking at their work, I'd expect maybe a new 360 or a 440 - doing 18' boats doesn't seem to be their thing. Pack mentioned something about a three-year plan in the interview, so I don't think we'll be waiting very long to see fruits of the partnership.

I bet they're going after the formula 430 SSC if I had to guess. Or maybe designing a whole new line of outboards all together.
