It's certainly the easiest Cobalt to tow, which for us was a huge factor in ending up with the 210.

That was a large deciding factor for me as well. As was the wrap around seating.

Once the kiddies get a bit bigger we'll have to see if we're going to a bigger WS series or If I keep the 190 and get another boat... Depends what they're into but close proximity to the lake I would've murdered someone for a Malibu or a Mastercraft growing up.

You're better off adding a tower. When I spoke to the dealer about the WSS he was up front and told me the price difference was for paint job. You can price out the tower and sea dek much cheaper if you don't care about the paint or piping color.

Exactly - I looked hard at the 210WSS, but got a plain old 210 with a forward-folding aluminum wakeboard arch instead. There's now nothing less watersporty about my boat than the WSS boats, except for the graphics.

I couldn't care less about the graphics, in fact i think I've said I'll probably go all white with the next one.

I wouldn't add a tower on mine, or a swim platform - I've seen them on the 190 and they just look goofy (my opinion obv). 190 has a very classic, sharp and humble Cobalt look. It looks clean the way it is, If i add either of those it gets busy.

4-5 years I'l make a decision about a 220 or whether I keep the 190 and get another boat strictly for water sports. I'll have 3 boys by then, it might make sense to have a boat specifically for that purpose.

Pics for reference. It's a tiny boat but man are the lines clean and the layout super functional.

Correct each of us want different options. I was just about to pull a trigger on a Malibu then this 220 came up the same same I was going to purchase the Malibu. I just want one.wife not do so much. We do more cruising then playing. So yes the cobalt makes sense not that I agree with it. I always wanted a tow boat just to have one. But the big issue and it's the same on your boat is my wife doesn't want to sit backwards or side ways in the passenger seat. So that rules out allot of tow boats and newer Cobalts. Some wives don't care and it works for them just not us. I don't have to sit there so it didn't matter to me but she does so I gave in.

My wife doesn't care which way she's sitting as long as there's sun. I like the post 2012 220's because they have the wraparound seating - that's my next target.

but... I always wanted a Malibu. Recently the Mastercrafts have grown on me. My family has the lake house so two boats just means adding another lift.

Ideally I's love to keep the 190 for a long time, I just honestly love the boat. I think it might be one of the most well designed boats ever made from a functionality standpoint. Everything makes sense.

I'd love to have another strictly for towing... We're restoring a 56' whaler for fishing purposes (no fishing on the 190).

My pops has a '47 Chris Craft Rocket that's perfect for the after dinner cruise... and mine to go tow him back when it quits on him a few times a season :D

That's awesome any pictures of the 47?
If I lived on a smaller lake we would have a bu no questions asked. But we have allot of water and not glass very often.

BB - Sorry for the delayed response. Been real busy. Here's the old man with his baby. Thing floats when it's going. Has a real nice rumble too. Original Ace engine.

He's clearly having a blast! Looks like a bit of trim might speed it up even more.
