Purchasing a Trailer in Canada

Post by BobRae99 »

Hi There,

I'm looking for advice on buying a new or used trailer for my 2019 Cobalt R3. I'd like a trailer that is suitable for an R3, but will also be suitable for the R5 and its soon to be released R6 which will weigh 600 lbs more than the current R5.

My local dealer brings all of his new trailers in from Cobalt. He says that most people approaching him about buying a trailer (after sale) have indicated that the best selection (and prices) seem to be in Ontario.

If you are in Ontario and have some advice for purchasing a good quality trailer, I'd appreciate any advice you can offer.

Thanks,

BR

I wonder if you will get more responses if you pay this in another category? We in the states need something to talk about 🤔😂

Thanks for posting this in another thread. Others might have missed it. Maybe put it in the R series thread too?

When I bought my cobalt it didn't come with a trailer so I bought a new Heritage trailer and had it customized to my boat. Same colours... black and red. Looks great! I'm in Ontario.
