We went to Media Lake, Sunday afternoon. It was windy and a little rough but it was sooo nice to see the lake full again.

Going to Lake LBJ on Saturday. It is supposed to be a beautiful day.

Here we go again. Travis is up about 2' overnight prediction is it will rise another 2' before they start letting water out. They are holding all the water coming down from the other highland lakes because of the runoff downstream.

Same here, we’re good through Sunday then 5 straight days of rain is going to shut us down for at least 2 weeks...

Just found this thread. I'm dry stacked at Riviera Marina on Lake Travis and don't have a trailer either. We enjoy going to Shack 512 too, and mostly hang out in a couple of coves near our marina. Open to a meet up if anyone is interested.

I think we should try and get together. I can't trailer, but I'm up for a meet on Travis. Slipped between the 13 and 14 mile markers.

I'm game for a meet up this weekend on Travis, let me know when and where. I have all three days off and pretty flexible schedule too.

I have to narrow it down, but we will get out at least one day.

Well I can't afford a house on LBJ so I I got an RV spot on the water at Sunset Point for the summer. With kid's sports I had to change my mindset of lake hopping all summer to one dedicated lake. Fittingly, LBJ is my boat's original home port.

Hope to see y'all out there.

Nice! That'll be the ideal place to go and relax. I haven't even de-winterized yet.

What's the consensus? Is winter officially over in Austin, TX?

I think it is, per the weather guys.

In light of recent events we all need to isolate on the lakes as much as possible.

Our marina on Lake Travis has closed their fuel dock until further notice and advised us of some new rules:

"Do not raft up with other boats. Do not hang out at the marina. Get in your boat and leave and when you come back from boating, get to your vehicles. You are only allowed your immediate household on your boat. You will be pulled over if authorities see multiple people on one boat."

not quite what this summer has turned into but a lot of that sentiment still going around among the marina managers.

I can confirm the surf boats are back to their 15 soul payloads on LBJ.
