Innovative Lighting

Post by TinCupp »

My 226 has a motorized stern nav light. It’s the recessed/retractable solution from Innovative Lighting. Not sure if this is standard on these boats but it’s pretty slick (when it works). It has been hit or miss on lighting up when I want it to and seemed to have a short. I’ve tore it apart and the engineering that went into it is pretty clever. However, the company’s support on parts or selling me a new unit has gone silent so I decided to move on.

Anyway, I have replaced it at the sacrifice of hijacking the base and McGyvering a no drill pole base together (didn’t want any screw holes in the fiberglass) from the old base. If anyone has this light and needs parts from the motor and/or enclosure then it’s all yours. I’ll keep it around for a few weeks. Just let me know where to ship it.

Someone will want it for sure. Can’t remember who but someone was looking for one of those a few months back. You might search some older threads.

I have a motor and pole that work but the light fixture on top is broken/sheared off. If anyone has any ideas on how to get a light for the top, let me know. Thanks.
