Porta-Potty Question

Post by Stanslp432 »

I have a new 25SC with the factory potty that has 2 hook ups. One vent the other for pump out. My question is can I switch over to the empty yourself style. Because of very light usage. Do I need to replace it or can I convert it over? Any help would be appreciated. Stan

Hey S432. So glad you found us!

Yes…You can swap out that porta pottie for a manual empty type.
Give us a pic and we can help you out further.

And welcome aboard mate!

have a picture of it? Most of the toilets with hookups like yours start out as portables and have options to add pump out to them.

I have a porta potti in mine with the same two outlets and like you wanted to empty it manually for the same reason.
All I did is go to hardware store and buy caps for both outlets on the toilet. That converts the potty into a manual one. Saves you from buying another one.

You would just have to block off the hoses in the back. Thetford probably can supply the caps.
