I think this is a function of the browser you are using... mine is chrome, on linux,
and unless I logged out on the previous session (vs just closing the browser), I always
come up logged in. Can even be different under different versions of the same browser.
I think iOS in particular has a problem caching the site cookies. I've reached out to the forum developers and submitted bug reports to Apple, with only mild interest back in fixing it. I'm not really a coder, or I'd be looking hard at how PHPBB stores cookies myself to see if I could see anything wonky. I'll keep on it, but there's only so much I can do...

No issues with iPhone XS or Google chrome browser on computer.
It’s actually been really good for me lately.
Weird.
Maybe it’s a Wisconsin- Pennsylvania thing.

I've opened bug reports with Apple and with PHPBB, and PHPBB is in the process of a major revision. My skill to fix this myself is limited, but I do know some of the problems in late November were right around the time of a forum software upgrade which did cause everyone to get booted a couple times.
I'm mainly an iPhone/iPad person and have the same issues. I've looked at other forum software, but for now I think we'll see where the big PHPBB 4.0 upgrade takes us first.

At least I'm the only one having the issue. So far 3 times today.

No issues for me on our computer or I-products. Are you using a blackberry?

I use Win 10 and never a problem. It saves the password just fine. The Android phone works the same..no problems.

Yeah, it’s really something with iOS devices. The first alpha release of PHPBB 4 came out recently, so I’ll keep watching. I’m mainly iphone/iPad too, so I’m well aware of the issue.
If it isn’t fixed, we may have to look at other forum software, but that’s usually a huge disruption.

That’s weird. I’m the exact opposite. Have rarely had to log in on IPhone iPad and or windows computer running chrome.
Are your settings erasing history every time you log off resulting in a requirement to log in again?

Nope. My crownline forum I haven't logged in over a year. Nothing else do I really have to log into. Unless I clear everthing then I'll have to log in on others. This place is just special!
