Well USAA did not total our GL550 after the accident.
It was getting long in the tooth though at 110,000 miles so we decided to purchase the used X7 shown earlier. We were quite impressed with the M50i’s 523 HP / 563 foot pound engine and massive brakes. It should do well with towing. We’ll report back on that. Plus the BMW app for connectivity control when not near the vehicle is as close to Tesla’s as I have seen by any of the legacy car manufacturers. Kudos to BMW. Hopefully other manufacturers will follow in that department as it’s the future.

And yes, the Bowers and Wilkins immersive sound system is the bomb.

Our only complaint for now is the slow operation of the middle row seats to fold and move forward to allow entry into the third row. That’s a first word problem though.

Without pics it didn’t happen so……(and notice the hitch) :D
