Wow! I just hope that things got an EcoBoost
605hp 2050 torque X15 Cummins 18 speed.
Simply amazing. I remember riding with my dad and his 350hp fire breathing Cummins many years ago, no power steering no air ride, just 10 gears.
With 605hp do you even down shift for hills?
That was probably in the 70’s with 350 Cummins and no power steering. I rode in a few like that when I was a kid.
The 605 is the biggest engine available these days, I don’t think it runs as good as a 625 Caterpillar I had in a 06 Kenworth W900.

We were down to Bullfrog a couple weekends ago for the houseboat work weekend and it is just almost scary. The Executive Services ramp by the slips is all that is open on the Bullfrog side and it's 2 launch lanes wide. This summer is gonna be a cluster if the lake level doesn't raise much and right now the prediction is to not even get enough to get the main Bullfrog ramp back in the water.

Which ramp is that?
I think it’s the main launch ramp at Bullfrog.
I'm not sure which ramp that is Jeeper....but I don't think its Bullfrog. That looks more like State Line....Bullfrog doesn't drop off like that as they are still allowing boats 20' or less to launch in the sand off the side. Here is a shot from a few weeks ago looking down the ramp at Bullfrog....

I was really surprised of this tidbit from the above link.
"Blue Notch is unknown and really just shoreline launching at whatever point feels good. No minimum given except amount of courage it takes to reach this launch."

Courage? Sounds like my kind of ramp.
LOL...so Blue Notch really isn't a ramp or a formal marina or anything like that. It's a rough 4 wheel drive road that in some years gets you down close enough to the water at the upper end of Lake Powell where you can launch smaller boats if you are brave enough to tow your rig back there. They list it because a lot of brave individuals that fish the upper end use that area to save about an hour plus of running time and fuel.

Oh I’ve hiked it and there would be more than words...and I wouldn’t even take my truck alone on it.

The last ramp open at Wahweep, it’s below the cement. When it drops 2 more feet they will close the ramp. The other ramp is Antelope Point, only good for launching kayak’s.
